Abstract Painting Process Post

When making the abstract painting I realized that it would take a lot of time and layers. My first layer was very bad and didn't have good color schemes or much interests. I realized that it takes a lot of time and layers to get what you are looking for. You have to build up the colors, and add different types of marks. I liked the colorfulness of my painting, and how they all worked together nicely. I had many different marks, and as I got more layers the marks became smaller and more detail. Sometimes I would have to go back into areas that were too busy and separate it with the background color. I also added some gel medium to add texture and surface to my painting to add a more interesting element.
