I though it was interesting that he did five murals last year, which isn't his typical medium and he also used spray paint for the first time. I also found it interesting that when he went to the Southside Contemporary Art Gallery it was completely upside down. I also think it is cool that I saw his sumo wrestler mural in person when I was walking in Carytown.I even recreated some of the poses. I also found it interesting that he has a science fiction theme throughout his work, and a colorful theme throughout his work.

I learned that he is from Laos there was this show had 50 years of Laotian immigrants in it. It had different memorabilia from Vietnam and articles about the war. I learned that he submitted a. piece featuring an elephant into this show. I also learned that the piece he is currently working on is very hard for him, as he called it a pain, which helps me to understand that even when you are making art as a career, you still struggle sometimes. I also learned that he recently started doing work on the ipad, and although eh was against it for a while, he found out that he really enjoys it. I found it interesting that he came from a painting background but does a lot of black and white comics. he explained that he wants to explore color but doesn't know what style he is thinking off.
I found that the most important points he made was to follow your inspiration. He explains that his style is ver extinct and that he drew inspiration from comics. He grew up surrounded by them and started to incorporate it into his work.
