Figure Drawing Reflection

I really enjoyed this unity because I built on the skills that I learned last year. I really got to practice techniques I already knew and focus on perfecting them. I did a better job at proportions and getting the initial gesture drawing done well. I think I need to work on starting lighter tho because by the time I started my contour, my gesture was a little too dark. I like that we worked more on facial features this unit rather than leaving the face blank. Although I wasn't the best at doing the face, I was definitely better than last year. The tone drawing was fun to do because it was subtractive and additive. I want to do better at finding the shapes of the features instead of drawing what it should look like.
