Heart Project Post - August

To continue with the heart project I started working on the background and more of the smaller details. Adding the water and the ripples in the water really added movement to the piece and created a more realistic look. I tried to make the composition follow the rule of the thirds with the two bottles on one point and the duck on the other. I also wanted there to be elements that tied the piece together like the log going across the piece and the pipe connecting the duck to other areas.
