Heart Project Process Post - July

For this piece I was focused on the theme of enviornent and taking care of the nature around us. In the Final Four project, I used colored pencil and sketched animals and plants. To synthesize those projects I made a painting of a duck swimming indirty water. I wanted the very beautiful and calm looking duck to be surrounded by garbage and dirty water to show the harm being done to many wildlife due to littering. I wanted to make a painting as I wanted this piece to have color to show the dirtiness of the trash and water and test my photorealism skills. So far I have painted some of the main trash in the water and the duck.
