I have completed the grisaille underpainting and established all the tones. Now I went in with a glaze to add color without fully covering the values from the underpainting. this part is challenging because I have to get enough color for it to be vibrant enough but also make sure to keep the tones. I had to add some direct painting on the details and areas of high saturation. Overall I found this process to be very fun and enjoyable because it was something new. I liked this method of painting because I was able to focus on the colors and values separately, therefore, they were more accurate.
