Q1 process Post #2

Since the last process post I have been working on the other sections of the circle. I decided on doing an eye in the top left section and a coin in the bottom. I decided on a frog eye because it was very colorful and contrasted the grey, monochromatic theme of the disco ball. I also though it juxtaposed the man made, industrial feeling of the disco ball. I chose a coin for the bottom section because I wanted to do something simple, that wouldn't overwhelm the piece. I also though the bronzy, gold color would contrast with the silver disco ball well. I have been working on getting the form in the eye, as it looks a little flat. I also want to get the highlights and shadows done well in the penny, as it will add more detail to the monochromatic background.
