I found a curator to be a very interesting art related job. Curators find art piece for collections and exhibitions in museums. They research and discover new artists and new movements and give them a chance to grow. I find a curator to be cool because they are able to spot talent within young artists work and theme and can help these artists grow into something famous. I like this job because they aren't in the spotlight giving tours or having their artwork on display, but this job still takes a level of skill and talent.

To become an at curator you need to have skills in art history and modern movements technical skills, general knowledge about mediums and styles, and a good eye for composition and color schemes. For this job, most people have a bachelors and masters in a related field such as art history, museum studies, and more. History and liberal science majors are also common.

To start being a curator, you need to apply for internships and mentor at museums under an art curator. This way you can explore the different roles of the job and understand what is behind the scenes. This will also give you connections and you can apply for a job at museums to become a curator. Although this job may seem easy, it takes. a lot of practice and learning to get the hang of it. Art curators don't only find work, but they catalog the work and sometimes look of the care of the piece. The curator has to have a lot of knowledge on the pieces they collect and be prepared to share their information and maybe even lecture. This is so they can explain why the art deserves a spot in the museum and the potential it has.

Overall I found this job very interesting as they have the power to create new famous artists. They spot talent in different pieces and can explore the art world. they are able to look at all different styles and types of art and explore the meaning behind each.
