Summer Project Process Post - August

This month I finished the background objects. I painted the container and some of the objects that were in the back of the piece. These objects were much simpler as they were generally a single value and didn't have many reflections. I also went back and added in bright white in some areas and made sure that the objects looked finished. Then I worked on the floor and added the wood texture.

Overall I am pleased with my piece. It definitely challenged me as their were many areas where I had to go over numerous times. The shadows and reflections on some of the glass pieces were tricky and getting the right value took time. Even though this process was very time consuming and difficult, the results gave me some inspiration for my next pieces.
